Dream it, Do it! Down Grapevine Lane

While I’m busy unpacking my boxes and arranging my possessions in my new home I thought you might like to meet another lovely contributor to the June Bustle & Sew Magazine.  We were delighted to be able to feature Sedef of Down Grapevine Lane as June’s successful entrepreneur.

As always Rosie put the feature together and I was very interested that she’d chosen to highlight the words …

I am working around the clock to make my dreams a reality.”

I would so totally agree with this sentiment, and for me what makes Sedef’s achievements all the more remarkable is that, after giving up her full-time employment she has combined building her successful business with caring for her two young children, Alexander and Alice.  Sedef and her family live in Southern Australia, in a picturesque wine town where her windows open onto wonderful views looking over miles of vineyards – which of course is how her business came to be named.  She gave up her high-flying corporate career to stitch beautiful creations that are cute, without being too cutesy …..

… and as well as offering the finished products she has some truly lovely free tutorials over on her website.  (including the bookmark above). Just  CLICK HERE to visit her tutorials page – you’re sure to find something you’d love to make, or if you’d prefer to purchase something sewn by Sedef, then just CLICK HERE to visit her Etsy shop.

I’ll be back at the weekend to let you know how we’re all getting on in Somerset (Ben and Daisy have made some new friends already!).

I love the little pears. I am glad you are settling in. I’m not sure if packing up or unpacking is worse. Take time to smell the roses this weekend.
