It’s nearly here – a peep at the July Magazine!

Such a busy bustling week it’s been here in our little corner of Somerset.  I live only around 7 or 8 miles from Glastonbury, and in the evenings I’ve actually been able to hear the music – very faintly – I think the wind must have been in the right direction.  Buses, coaches, vans and cars have been busy ferrying their brightly dressed passengers to and from the festival site, and food and drink stalls have popped up all along the route.  Last year we experienced gridlock as the festival entrances were closed due to mud, but this year although we’ve had some light rain I don’t think anyone will have needed their wellies!  While all this has been going on I’ve been finishing off the July Magazine ….

With a bit of a seaside and coastal theme.  Freddie has already taken the two fierce pirates (Captain Bearbeard and Long Tom Tiger) for his own and they’ve been accompanying him (along with his Wilderness Bear) on all his comings and goings.

Freddie’s Wilderness Bear – Kits currently in stock

His seat in the car is getting a little tight for space – and as I’m about to start work on a new Polar Bear Softie which I think he’ll love (don’t forget it’s Christmas in July next month) – I’m not sure how we’re going to fit him in along with all his softie friends!!   But I digress – I wanted to share the July Magazine preview …..

There’s lots between the covers – ranging from how to make your own windbreak, to summer recipes using seasonal ingredients, taking care of your sewing machine, interviews with two very talented makers, the usual six new Bustle & Sew patterns and much more besides.  If you’re a subscriber, then the July issue will be arriving in your inbox on Thursday 29 June – that’s this Thursday coming.  If you’re not a subscriber and would like to learn more then please CLICK HERE to visit our magazine page.
