What Kate Baked

Another rather lovely feature that Rosie has introduced into our new-look magazine is the baking corner.  Rosie has always loved to bake and when I visit there’s almost always something yummy waiting to be sampled.  And this year, along with my Chocolate Log, I’m very much hoping to discover the Mince Pie Wreath that we featured in the December issue …..

Stuffed with cranberries, almonds, mincemeat and decorated with orange zest I think it would be the perfect addition to our festive feast (hint hint – are you reading this Rosie?)  Kate has a lovely blog totally devoted to the sweeter things in life and offers weekly recipes to download including delicious chocolate confections, brilliant biscuits, comforting cakes, perfect puddings and lots and lots of themed cakes and bakes!  How yummy are these Gingerbread Latte Cupcakes

And not just for Christmas .. these would be lovely and warming as part of a winter’s afternoon tea enjoyed in front of a blazing fire!  If you too love baking, then I would definitely recommend popping across to Kate’s blog “What Kate Baked” where you’ll discover lots more delicious treats to enjoy.  Thanks so much Kate!

Thanks for highlighting What Kate Baked, Helen, those cupcakes look delicious as does so many of her recipes. I love baking so I’ve added her blog to my favourites. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your blog, I’ve enjoyed a wonderful year waiting each month to receive your mag. Long may it continue.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas sharing happy times with your family, both human and furries. LOL Wishing you and yours a very happy healthy New Year xx
