Spring Bunny Wreath free pattern .. and a sleepy pup!

Yes, my new pattern for free newsletter readers is my Spring Bunny Wreath – created with an old embroidery hoop, lots of felt scraps and a hot glue gun!  If  you’d like it and you’re not already a free newsletter reader, then you can join using the box in the right hand sidebar – and you’ll receive access to lots more free patterns and tutorials as well as other Bustle & Sew goodies.  Oh, and please rest assured that I NEVER share your details with anyone else.

Rosie visited this weekend so we took the dogs to the beach (of course!) Daisy is quite determined to keep up with her Big Brother, bustling along with her little short legs and round puppy body as he charges ahead trying to pretend that she’s nothing to do with him!  But even a little canine whirlwind has to rest sometimes and Rosie (who has endless patience with her camera) snapped this wonderful shot of a sleepy puppy….

Daisy takes a break

Every picture tells a story!

Thanks so much for the sweet Spring Bunny Wreath! I’m very anxious to make my own and will be digging through my felt scraps looking for bright flower petals this afternoon. We’re experiencing a blizzard here in the northeast USA today, and I thank you for the gift of spring.
Delightful photo of Daisy….and what huge paws she has!!!

Yep, a rabbit I was right LOL!! I’ll be giving him a go, not sure about the wreath. Although it looks lovely, not my cup of tea as too much fiddling around.

I don’t know how you do it! !!!!! YOUR posts are full of beautiful walks through beaches and countryside with handsome pupper Ben pictures and even newer photos of sweet Miss Daisy. AND THEN, you come out with a finished project that is absolutely gorgeous!! Yes, I know I’m using a lot of explanation points!!!!, but yeepers, you are fast and furious. And full of great ideas! Maybe I’m just slow……..ahem……Keep it up! xox.

Thanks so much Penny – I am blushing (a lot!) after reading your lovely comment. I think have lots of ideas for projects because I worked full time in an office for 30 years – during which time I didn’t have chance to do much creating, so now I have the opportunity all the stored-up ideas are just bursting out of me! I am not sure Daisy is being very sweet just at present though – the dogs are playing next to me as I type, and her newest game is to launch herself at the top of Ben’s head, then slide down his ears to the ground. Luckily for her he is very sweet-natured, but I think I will need to go and rescue him very soon! xx

OH Helen just love your Bunny Wreath! I am working on some hand work right now that I had put away 4 years ago due to damage to the nerves in my neck, that led to my hand. Yes it has been fun doing it again and my hand so far isn’t giving me too much trouble! A bit stiff but all in all it is working, just have to make sure my stitches are even!! And it because I found your wonderful site that has given me the nudge to try again!! Thank you Helen.

Big doggie hugs to your two lovelies!!
Thanks Helen, 🙂
