I have always thought this quote from Mother Theresa captures motherhood perfectly. After all, isn’t this what being a mum is all about? So I decided to stitch her words, together with a Mason jar of beautiful blooms in plenty of time for Mother’s Day, though it would make a lovely gift for a special person all year round.
The stitches used are nice straightforward ones, back stitch, straight stitch and French knots so it’s easier than you might think to achieve a really nice result you can be proud of.
My stitching is displayed in a plain 7” hoop.
