Hungry Bunny Tote Bag

This cute little bunny looks as though he doesn’t quite dare to help himself to those juicy carrots – yet!!  I’ve incorporated this applique design into a nice strong tote bag with plenty of interior pockets, but he’d look just as good on a cushion, storage cube  or even an apron or wall hanging.

My finished bag measured 16” wide x 12” high x 4” deep but you can easily adjust the pattern to meet your requirements.  Applique is a great way to use up all those fabric scraps – my bunny and his carrots are made from fabric samples from an interiors shop sale, and the soil is cut from the leg of an old pair of cord jeans!!
