Daisy thinks stitching is boring!

On my Facebook page today I was asked how I managed to get so much stitching done?  Was it down to excellent planning?  I’m afraid not Gabby!!  I think it’s because sewing is such a passion of mine.  I’m one of those people who simply can’t sit down and relax for even a moment without picking up my latest project, and it’s amazing how much I do manage to achieve this way.

Of course Daisy would tell you it’s because I have such a hard heart – (I am very good at resisting her canine charms when I feel she’s had enough petting/playtime).  She thinks my stitching is VERY boring!!

Daisy hates stitching!!

And I suppose from her point of view it probably is!!

Hahaha, no arguments, she does look like she is threatening to die of boredom, leaving you alone, with no daily walks or Big Ben-free furry companionship…. 🙂

I just need to remember your good advice when my two canines and cat give me that very same look -AND i’ll pack a few more project bags. I keep the redwork at hand and take it everywhere but with your advice i will expand out to my “projects”. I do so much enjoy watching yours. Thanks

Hi Scarlette – it’s hard advice to follow I know – but Daisy would play all day if I was willing!! xx

We do spoil our fur babies, which is the way it should be!! Daisy will be just fine, even though hand stitching, sewing, etc. etc is boring. My Nay Nay would lay right by me while I was sewing in my sewing room or in the living room when I did handwork and crochet (I had to be careful not to step on her nose when I moved!!). On the occasion she would get bored and come bump my hand and want pets and lovin so I would take a break and do that and toss one of her stuffies and play catch for a few minutes and then she would lay back down and sleep! I miss my sweet girl still, but I know one day we will meet again on Rainbow Bridge and get and give hugs and kisses and play catch again!!

Hugs, Jan

Yes, both Ben and Daisy are spoiled and well-loved – I think the day I took that picture she’d already had 2 walks and lots of play!! I still miss my old Newfie, Amy though – she was the “Bustle” part of Bustle & Sew.
