Description
If a season can be said to have a colour, then for me the colour of early spring must be yellow – epitomised by the daffodil which can be seen everywhere along verges, banks and in great drifts across open grassy areas, looking almost as though the earth is covered in cheery yellow sunshine.
They’re cheap and cheerful in the shops too which is an added bonus, and it’s lovely to bring some bulbs inside to enjoy as well – rather like those shown here growing away well in their blue and white March hare bowl.
Shown mounted in 7” hoop.
