Bowl of Spring Daffodils

If a season can be said to have a colour, then for me the colour of early spring must be yellow – epitomised by the daffodil which can be seen everywhere along verges, banks and in great drifts across open grassy areas, looking almost as though the earth is covered in cheery yellow sunshine.

They’re cheap and cheerful in the shops too which is an added bonus, and it’s lovely to bring some bulbs inside to enjoy as well – rather like those shown here growing away well in their blue and white March hare bowl.

Shown mounted in 7” hoop.

This pattern would be easy for a beginner to work as it uses just three stitches: split stitch, satin stitch and French knots. Pattern includes full size templates, stitching instructions and DMC floss requirements.

Please note, this listing is for the pattern to stitch your own hoop and not the finished item. It is a digital pattern and you will not receive anything in the post.  Your pattern will be emailed to you and will also be available in your Bustle & Sew account once your purchase is complete.
