Description
I have always been a little envious of those who keep their own chickens, and though my plan to acquire my own feathered hens has been delayed for 12 months, I’m still hoping that by this time next year I will be ready to welcome some chickens of my own. Meanwhile I thought it would be fun to stitch a selection of breeds – so many to choose from! – onto some linen napkins to brighten up our table.
I made my own napkins, just simple squares of linen, but you could embroider your chicks onto ready made ones if you prefer.
Stitches used are split stitch and satin stitch.
Please note, this is a pattern to stitch your own napkins and not the finished item.
