Description
The daughter of very good friends of mine is getting married this month, up in Northumberland, and has chosen a theme of feathers and tweed for her wedding day, to blend with the glorious purple heather of the moors that will be in full bloom around then. I thought it would be fun for Bustle & Sew to join in her big day and so I’ve designed this pattern featuring four painterly feathers. They are a lot easier to stitch than you might think and even if your satin stitch is less than perfect (rather like mine!) then that’s OK as whoever saw a perfect feather anyway?!
