Autumn wouldn’t be the same without a woodland themed pattern – in my opinion at least. For 2018 I’ve decided upon a simple applique owl, formed entirely of easy to cut geometric shapes using some of my favourite fabric off-cuts and samples rescued from an interiors shop closing down sale.
The owl is appliqued using the freehand machine technique onto a lovely grey wool blend felt and the cushion cover closes at the back with a simple envelope closure.
Finished cover will fit standard 14” x 18” pad though it would be easy to resize if you wished.
