I have learned over the years that you can never have too many nice sturdy simply shaped tote bags, whether for shopping or – in this case for taking to the beach. This is a generously sized boxy bag, very simple in construction and decorated with eight mouthwatering ice creams -featuring all my favourite flavours!! The ice creams themselves are simple freestyle machine applique with a few hand embroidery details.
The finished bag measures 16” tall x 12” wide x 6” deep (approx). and has a simple internal patch pocket.
The pattern includes full size templates for tracing your ice creams and is a great project for the less experienced stitcher.
