September brings the first hints of autumn – season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, vintage blankets, tweedy fabrics and gorgeous tones of russet and gold…. Summer isn’t over yet by any means but there is a sense that the year is turning and soon the swallows will be leaving for warmer countries.
