I remember going carol singing as a youngster and we’d always finish with a rousing chorus of “We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year” – so providing the inspiration for this seasonal hoop.
It’s really easy to stitch and whilst I have suggested some floss colours, it’s fine to use up any random shades of green you may have left over from previous projects. And please don’t get hung up on both
sides being identical – this isn’t necessary or, in my opinion at least, desirable at all – I think it looks more spontaneous and natural if the two halves are similar rather than identical.
