Description
I’m sure you’re familiar with the old Christmas poem written by Clement Clarke Moore in 1822 that begins “’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse!” And this little mouse is certainly slumbering comfortably in his teacup, stocking at the ready for Santa’s visit. This hoop combines some simple applique with hand stitching to create a charming Christmas decoration.
Stitches used are chain stitch, ghiordes (or turkey) knot, satin stitch, split stitch and straight stitch.
Shown mounted in 5” hoop.
Pattern includes full size templates, floss requirements and stitching instructions including diagrams to help you work turkey knot stitch and extra photos to help you stitch the fur.
Please note, this listing is for a pattern to stitch your own mouse and not the finished item. It is a digital pattern and you will not receive anything in the post. Your pattern will be emailed to you and will also be available in your Bustle & Sew account as soon as your purchase is complete.
