I have shown these seagulls as a flock, mounted in a 7” hoop, but I think they’d also be great either individually, or as a flock, to add a unique touch to different items. A flock would look wonderful swooping across a beach bag (you could enlarge the gulls and embroider or perhaps use machine applique techniques), add them to a denim jacket, plain blouse or anything else you can think of! As they’re worked entirely in split stitch they are suitable to items that receive wear and tear and need to be washed.
Pattern includes full size templates (right way round and reversed to suit your preferred method of transfer), DMC floss requirements and full stitching instructions.
