Description
This little barn owl looks so sleepy and content on his twig that I gathered from my garden. He’s mounted on a vintage bobbin – a slightly larger one than usual measuring 2” tall that I’ve wrapped with dark blue felt embroidered with oak leaves and gold stars. The owl’s feathers are embellished with gold too. Vintage bobbins are easy to come by on sites such as eBay, but if you can’t find one then you can also purchase new wooden bobbins online that will look just as nice.
Measuring 4” high (without bobbin and twig) this owl isn’t a beginner’s make, but he isn’t as hard as you may think!
