Description

August is the last month of our short English summer, and there just a few late-flowering species of flower left in our hedgerows. Wild carrot, Rosebay Willowherb and one or two others. This hoop celebrates these late flowering stars – indeed my mum used to tell me that when Rosebay Willow Herb had finished flowering right to the top of its spikes (it’s the pink one in this hoop) then summer would be at an end.

Pattern uses chain stitch, whipped back stitch, bullion knots and french knots. Shown mounted in 7” hoop.

Please note, this listing is for the pdf pattern to stitch your own hoop and not the finished item.  Pattern includes full size templates, stitching instructions and DMC floss requirements.
