After a wonderfully warm and sunny early spring this year, summer seems to have turned into a bit of a washout with grey skies and rain being the order of the day. Still, it’s nice to recall those days of blue skies and sunshine in the colours of this floral hoop. It’s full of blossoms, but isn’t actually very hard to stitch – using mainly satin and back stitch, though there are a few French knots and bullion stitch too (though you could substitute satin stitch if preferred).
