It is fair to say that Autumn, or Fall, is one of my favourite times of year. I love the way that the summer gently fades into golden days of fallen leaves and wonderful shades of ochre, gold, scarlet and bronze spread across the landscape. Days of smoky garden bonfires, and long walks, returning home to a warming bowl of soup as the gossamer mists begin to rise from the fields around my house.
It’s easy to recapture that autumn feeling with this collection of projects, each evoking that season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. Projects range from a friendly woodland fox, to a cute toadstool bag, embroidery for your jacket and a couple in love among the autumn leaves.
As well as all nine patterns shown on the cover of the collection I’ve also included a few pages on choosing your fabric, your hoop and transferring your design which I do hope you’ll find useful.
All material and floss requirements are given, as well as full instructions for each project, including lots of photographs where these help explain the different stages. The templates are at the back of the book and are all full size.
