Description
This little hoop – just 4” in diameter – is all about the bather’s hair. Her shoulders and costume are worked in satin stitch, whilst the bubbles surrounding her are different sizes of French knot. Her hair really is her crowning glory though, a great chestnut brown mass piled up on top of her head.
I chose to stitch my bather on a lovely turquoise blue linen, reminiscent of Mediterranean waters, but like her hair, skin and costume colours, your own colour choices are entirely up to you.
