I had such fun embroidering this collection of colourful fungi – both toadstools and mushrooms (I’m never quite sure what the difference is!) drawn from my imagination.
There is some quite dense stitching, but all the stitches used are very straightforward. There are just three , satin stitch, split stitch and French knots. If you don’t want to stitch the whole hoop, then it would be fun to maybe stitch a toadstool or two onto a jacket, or maybe make a felt brooch? There are so many possibilities!
