February brings Valentine’s Day of course, and this little hoop is intended as a celebration of love as the couple embracing – him leaning a little towards her as she offers a thank you kiss for the pretty floral bouquet.
The stitches used are basket weave chain stitch, French knots, satin stitch and split stitch. I worked my design on a cotton fabric with a tiny rose print – appropriately romantic I felt.
