My dog Daisy’s breeder also breeds horses and, in particular, Friesians. These are the most beautiful creatures with arched necks and long flowing manes, and it was upon the Friesian horse that I modelled my little unicorn softie.
He’s surprisingly easy to stitch, with just two sides, two underbodies and a head gusset forming the main part of the softie – and don’t be put off if he looks a little odd before you add his mane – his flowing locks make all the difference.
Stands around 9” tall excluding horn.
