The little Wilderness Bear from last June’s Bustle & Sew Magazine has been one of my favourite patterns of all time – and certainly a favourite of my little two-year-old grandson Freddie.
And so now, as Freddie’s birthday approaches I thought it would be fine to give that design one last twist and reinvent my wilderness bear as some rather funky bunting – perfect for any party, or just to decorate a lucky child’s room instead. (The last photo shows the bunting being displayed at Freddie’s birthday party and is to show how it can be used – the listing does not include all the other items in the picture!)
The trees and bears are between 5 ½” and “ tall and the arrow roundels just over 3” in diameter. It’s a great project for using up oddly shaped scraps of felt. Full size templates are included
