I was delighted to discover that 2022 brings the Chinese Year of the Tiger as I haven’t created very many designs at all featuring this beautiful animal and this seemed like a great opportunity to capture its fierce, majestic spirit. Sadly however, this being me, I seem to have stitched a delightfully peaceful, slumbering fellow wearing a blue ruff and lying on a bed of flowers – more like a kitty cat than a tiger!
This little beast was great fun to stitch and uses split stitch, satin stitch, stem stitch, French knots and features a woven wheel flower. He’s mounted in a 4” hoop.
