Book Store Sale

It’s at this time of year, as the days grow longer and there are snowdrops scattered across the countryside in every direction, that spring seems so tantalisingly close. Not yet upon us – there will be plenty of dull days and cold nights to come before the winter ends, but certainly just over the horizon and nearly within our reach.

I will be super-glad to see the end of winter this year. The weather has been harsh and unkind up here on the Mendips and I seem to have spent quite a lot of the time being ill. I know that many people have experienced much worse than us over the past few months though, and my heart goes out to you all.

The chickens especially are tired of wet and windy weather. On stormy days they huddle together in their shelter, their feathers muddy and bedraggled and I can tell they too are dreaming of sunny days ahead. So, before that warmer weather arrives, and we all head off into the great outdoors, I thought now would be a good time to have my last sale for a little while – this time my annual book store sale.

I have just listed two new magazine bundles in the book store. These are for 2023 and 2024….

Each bundle contains all twelve magazines published in that year and, if you take advantage of the sale, is priced at just US $26 (£20 sterling), meaning each magazine is less that £2 (or around US $2 each – bargain!).  The bundles for 2023 and 2024 are included in my bookstore sale as are all the other magazine bundles (back to 2018) and pattern collections so there are lots of goodies to choose from!

The bookstore sale is being held here on the Bustle & Sew website, and all you need to do to pick up your bargains is to enter code BOOKSALE25 at checkout to receive your 25% discount.

Now I’m off to put the finishing touches to the February 2025 magazine. I’ll be back to tell you a bit more about this later this week, but meanwhile I think my favourite pattern (and one that makes me giggle) is one of two Valentine’s designs…..

I just can’t help singing along!
