In the August issue of Bustle & Sew Magazine we were delighted to feature an interview with the lovely Katri from Katjuska. Based in Northern Sweden, Katri designs and makes gorgeous handmade toys and accessories, working around her family from her home studio.
We asked Katri where she finds her inspiration, she told us;
“I always keep my eyes open wherever I go. Many different things inspire me; a beautiful vintage fabric at a flea market, wallpaper in a restaurant, our amazing Nordic nature, other talented makers and my dear little ones of course”.
We also asked Katri if there was anything she wished she knew before she started her own business. She said;
“I wish I would have realised the importance of having a mentor. There’s no shame in asking for guidance from someone with more experience. When I started to do that I was pleasantly surprised at how kind most people are. They really want to help”.
Pop over to Katri’s Etsy shop to have a look at her beautiful creations, you can also find her on Instagram too!
