Last night was so hot and the moon was so bright … I looked out of my bedroom window at half past nine and this is what I saw .. a beautiful full moon lighting up our woods as though it were daylight. Remember “Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “ill-met by moonlight, fair Titania?” At least that is how I think it goes (English lessons at school were a very long time ago!).
Anyway, Ben and I decided to walk up into the woods which were dappled with the silver moonlight and full of the sound of crickets, the occasional flutter of a moth or bat and lots of rustlings we couldn’t identify. We didn’t actually see any fairies, but were sure they were there …

They're lovely! Thanks so much for posting!
Those Faeries are lovely, I know somebody who might like them embroidered on something!

what a beautiful picture of the moonlight!
Just a fairy wish for you from me
Kindest Regards Linda
How funny, I thought the moon looked fantastic last night too.
So I took my camera out to take a photo, but it was just tooooo dark. My Son did laugh at me, all you could see was this white blob surrounded by black haha.
But I saw it in all its beauty:)

Thanks for the vintage fairy transfers, they're lovely……….we could all do with a little fairy dust sprinkled in our lives sometimes. Well done on your moon pic, it almost looks like the sun…….fantastic!
There IS something magical about that kind of moonlight. Wanted to let you know that Gina arrived safely and is settling in nicely. http://brunosmom.blogspot.com/2010/07/new-resident-at-muddle-manor.html Thank you!
Lovely photo and such sweet faeries! Thank you for sharing them with us!
What sweet little ladies! Thanks so much for sharing them, I'll be linking to this post.
Thank you for these most beautiful fairies. Rachel (Average Jane Crafter) has led me back to my embroidery roots and as soon as i finish the project she has started me working on (which isn't exactly small) I am embroidering your fabulous fairies.
