As a keen gardener myself I’m well aware of the importance of pollinators – and in particular the bee, which has been having a hard time of it just lately. So I thought it would be nice for my next kit to celebrate this incredibly useful and valuable creature by featuring a bee festooned in flowers….
The bee is mounted in a 6″ hoop and isn’t a beginner’s kit – more of an intermediate level I think. The stitches used are back stitch, straight stitch, split stitch, honeycomb stitch, French knots and turkey stitch. Full working instructions and diagrams are included for the last three stitches which are perhaps less familiar,
You will find the bee kits listed in our Etsy store – please just click here to find out more. Meanwhile, I hope you have a great week – now we finally have some sunshine I’m hoping to spend some time in the garden later!
