Bustle & Sew Magazine: Second Birthday Giveaway

My favourite Bustle & Sew Pattern, may I have two? The one I am doing now the Tea Cosy from the last magazine and the Herrings from issue 3

I’m a newbie, so my favorite patterns are the recent ones. I love the baby hedgehog and the embroidery design for the 2013 journal.

I would like to take part in!!! My favourite??? Difficult question as I love elephants, hedgehogs, mice, birds, dogs etc…maybe Charlie, the elephant is my favourite. I will definetly sew him one day 🙂

My favorite, although I haven’t attempted to make it, is the nasturtium tea cosy. I love the bright orange colours.

I love softies, especially the cotton spool mice. I also feel the need to make the dachsund draught excluder one day. Congrats on your 2 years.

I am new to your patterns, but love Rosie and bear with the books. I am a librarian and that pattern is wonderful!

Love the pillow, signal and semaphore.

For me it would be Charlie the Patchwork Elephant, because he is sew cute and I have made 2 of him, but the main reason is that is how I found you and Bustle & Sew and Ben and now Daisy!!!

I like the seagull applique.

I enjoyed making Charlie the Patchwork Elephant. Such a great way to achieve a patchwork result quickly. I have saved lots of scraps to make him some relatives.

My favorites are the spool mice and the hedgehog – can’t pick between them!

Picking an absolute favorite is very hard for me because I love all the patterns including the embroidery. The elephant, dog, mice all of these were absolutely darling. All I can say is keep up the good work I am really enjoying all of it.

I used your 3 beach-huts cushion idea & used it on cotton shopping bags as Christmas presents. Love all your freestyle machine embroidery.

My favorite pattern is the Blue Crab tote from the August 2012 issue. So many great patterns.

Happy days cushion I adapted it and used it as a bag front.it was a birthday gift for a friend who adores Whitby and has spent so many happy days there.

I love the moon and bunny quilt pattern.. A quilt like that would delight any small child! And it doesn’t look to terribly difficult to make!!!

I’m new to your site but I love your softies, ie the hedgehog, etc.

My favorite is “Summer Bedtime”. I have my own memories of trying to sleep while there was still a little light left. Now that I am a Mom with 3 kids of my own and I must confess that I let them stay up in the summer to enjoy as much light as they can. Besides, there’s nothing more beautiful then watching kids chase fire flies on a summers evening!

Definately ‘Hodge’ the hedgehog, although in our house he was called ‘Dodger’ for obvious reasons!! Xxxx

My favorite pattern is the Turtle and the Hedgehog. My friend likes turtles, I like hedgehogs it was the perfect birthday gift for her. 🙂

How can you pick “just one” as a favorite. I personally love all your little animals, houses, and many of your embroidery patterns. Picking just one is difficult. Guess your Coastguard Cottages from Issue 19 would be top o’ the list for me, followed by your Retro Dandelion Zipper Pouch from Issue 6, more houses from Heart of Your Home Applique in Issue 12, and the wee birds in Summer Birdie Bag Issue 7 plus Love Floew Down at Christmas from Issue 9 . . . this last pattern can be changed up quickly to be usable for Valentine’s Day by just adding little satin-stitched or back-stitched hearts inside the leaves. Thank you for all your work in this publication. Thoroughly enjoy it and look forward to each and every one coming in the mail!

Pincushion mice.

Congratulations on your anniversary. The mice patterns are my favorite. I collect Cute mice things and my Mom purchased your Mouse pincushion pattern for me. Her last purchase was the spool mice. She passed away this summer. The mouse pincusion and spool mice make me feel like she is with me when I sew or quilt. I have never subsribed to your magazie but do receive your newsletters. All of your patterns bring a smile to my face.

I like the puppy dog. Reminds me of my childhood. I have my very first granddaughter and I can’t wait to make her one.

I really love the Rosie and Bear A good book pattern, it reminds me of my lovely old book Now we are six and conjures up lots of lovely childhood memories. I always feel at my most relaxed when reading a good book and at my most inspired when crafting, combing the two by reading your blog and others is my favourite passtime!

I am a novice when it comes to cloth. I specialize in fibers. I have not attempted any of your patterns as of yet, although I love your site and have a list of all that I wish to attempt to make. I have recently wanted to expand my knowledge and have been reading and trying to sew very small projects such as coasters or wash clothes. With not too much success. As I only have a small amount of extra cash, purchasing items are rather scarce for me. To win a few patterns to start off my sewing lessons would be a joy that I would treasure greatly. Gosh Helen, My favorite? That’s a hard one… hummm… I guess if I were to pick my most-est favorite I would have to say the Christmas Candy Cone Mouse found in the October 2011 issue. He is so cute and can do double duty on May Day too with his cone filled with little flowers and sweet treats!
