Here in Devon today has been that most rare of events – a perfect English summer’s day. The sun was shining when I woke this morning, it shone on our early morning walk ….
We went to the beach at Strete Gate, about 10 minutes away. Then home again – and still the sun was shining – on the flowers in the garden …..
And on those I picked and brought indoors ….
It was a very good afternoon to finish my “Summer Days” embroidery – it’s going to be a tote bag for this month’s issue of the Bustle & Sew Magazine ….
More about the magazine (exciting changes this month!) at the weekend. Until then, if you are on Facebook, then you might like to pop across to the Bustle & Sew Facebook page and enter my giveaway ….
Yes, I’m giving away a little flying pig, handstitched by me from the softest felted cashmere. Hope your day was a sunny one too!
Pretty flowers and a lovely view
