Foxy projects … and a free fox cub pattern too

I’ve just returned from a lovely weekend in Bristol.  I went to see Cabaret with Rosie, and while I was there we fitted in a little (non-wedding!) shopping. We visited Cribbs Causeway – a large indoor mall on the outskirts of the city and wandered around for a while checking out the new autumn fashions.  I was struck by the popularity of fox images, and felt very proud that (even without a visit to the big city) I was already very on-trend with the October issue of the Bustle & Sew Magazine that features not one but two foxy patterns …..

Bustle & Sew Magazine October 2013… as well as my Winter’s Comfort Quilt, Night Flight from Flapdoodledesigns, Autumn Hedgerow Cardigan and part one of my first-ever Nativity Set.  Part one is “The Stable” and includes patterns for Mary, Joseph, Jesus and manger and the Angel.  Parts two and three including the Shepherds, animals and the Three Kings will follow in the November and December issues.

And then I felt even prouder of myself for being ahead of trend!!  Last year I also included fox designs in the Bustle & Sew Magazine ….

Bustle & Sew Fox Patterns

As well as a little Fox Cub Cushion Cover pattern.  This was a free pattern and was available for  (I think) two or three months, though it was later deleted to make way for spring designs.  But … as foxes are so popular this autumn, I thought I’d upload it again …
