Thank you so much to everybody who took the time to enter my “You are my Anchor” embroidery hoop competition. I loved reading through all your dream holiday destinations and think I have ideas to keep me going for the next decade’s worth of holidays at least! One destination that didn’t feature though, is one that I’d love to return to and that’s the Scottish Western Isles. We enjoyed a couple of lovely holidays there when Rosie was very much younger and Inverary at the head of Loch Awe was a particular family favourite.
But I digress… I have worked the random number generator …..

Glad to see Scotland mentioned. My husband and I just returned to a very hot Abu Dhabi from our 2 week holiday near Loch Katrine. Wonderful food – especially enjoyed the oats. Maybe we’ll see some recipes here using them!
