One of my favourite things about stitchcraft is that you can make the most delightful things out of very little indeed – items perhaps that others might just throw away – and this is definitely true of these mini cactus plants.
This project uses the tiniest scraps of felt, leftover embroidery floss and some vintage wooden cotton reels (these I think are nicest, but it’s easy to obtain modern versions too) to create the perfect miniature garden for a shelf or windowsill – and it will need no care at all – just occasional dusting!
Cactuses measure up to 3” tall.
