Weird and wonderful animal alphabet based on a set of vintage embroidery transfers – but given a modern twist with felt and feedsack applique. A good chance to work lots of different animals – and try out one or two different stitches too. If you don’t want to work the whole set, then why not stitch a child’s name? Or just one letter to personalise a special item – whatever you choose is sure to be a hit!
You will receive a downloadable file containing templates and full instructions for making your panel – stitches used are French knots, running stitch, chain stitch and straight stitch – plus one more unusual – Turkey (or Ghiordian) knot – for which full instructions + diagram are provided. The panel is really easy to work and is sure to be an heirloom of the future.
