Inspired by English country gardens in the long lazy days of summer time, this applique pattern features a design of bumble bees and ladybirds amongst the tall spires of pastel coloured hollyhocks.
The flowers and leaves are appliqued in felt, details are embroidered using back stitch, stem stitch and french knots. The little buzzy bees and ladybirds provide a beautiful finishing touch and detailed diagrams are provided for working these.
