Where shall we Adventure? Applique Ship

An irresistible combination of hand and machine embroidery and applique together with lines of verse from the poem “Pirates” by Robert Louis Stevenson make this ship a really special design.  Based on a vintage hand embroidery pattern from the 1930’s, it’s sailed right into the 21st century with this new interpretation.  The pattern also includes the lines of verse in the old typewriter font shown in the photos for you to transfer to fabric.  And if you’re not too confident with freestyle machine embroidery, then simply stitch the ship by hand with black floss – it will look just as nice!
