As well as full instructions, including floss colours and stitch guide for embroidering the letters A and Z and making the bookends shown, I’ve included templates for the whole alphabet, plus an ampersand.
The extra letters are hand drawn and I haven’t included detailed instructions for stitching them, as to do so would need a whole book I think! But creating your own interpretation of a design is to me part of the fun of freehand embroidery.
Each letter measures 4 ½” tall and the bookends measure 6” h x 4 ½” w x 2” d.
