In the October issue of Bustle & Sew Magazine we were delighted to feature an interview with Adrienne from Ellis & Ivy. Based in Seattle, USA, Adrienne started her embroidery business in 2014 to help raise adoption fees (she welcomed her second son home in April 2015) and has been stitching ever since!
We asked Adrienne where she finds her creative inspiration. She told us…
“I’m inspired by nature and the outdoors. I’ve always loved plants and stitching them”.
We also asked her if she had any tips she could share with other hand embroiderers;
“Take some time to try new things! It can be easy to get stuck using one or two kinds of stitches, but trying new ones can give you new inspiration!”
