Naughty Newfies! and the April Magazine

blog03

There are primroses everywhere now, and spring is well underway.  Christmas seems a long way off, which is probably just as well as far as the Newfies are concerned.   All I can say is that I do hope  the naughty pair are not expecting Santa to bring them any presents this year.  Because …..

Not only have they killed Rudolph by decapitation ……

They have been “fighting” over the body!  Such apalling behaviour – I can only assume that they’re hoping Santa will have forgotten all about it before December!  But that is indeed a long way off, and much closer is the publication date for the next issue of the Bustle & Sew Magazine – it’s out on Thursday!

There’s lots to enjoy inside .. as usual we’ve tried to include a variety of projects, articles and features so there’s something for everyone and I do hope you’ll feel we’ve succeeded.  If you’re not a subscriber and would like to learn more then please just CLICK HERE to go to my magazine page.  Of course April also brings Easter, which wouldn’t be complete without a bunny (or several!)  You may remember that my little grey bunny was featured in this month’s issue of Mollie Makes Magazine ……

He’s home again now after his travels – but I already have a bunny of my own so he is looking for a kind new owner to love.  If you’d like the chance to adopt this cheerful little fellow then please do check back later this week when I’ll be announcing our Allotment Thief giveaway for the bunny in the picture above – the very one that featured in Mollie Makes.  I’ll be sure to keep him safe until then – goodness knows what would happen if those naughty Newfies got their paws (and teeth) into him too!

I’m sure Santa will forgive them – it must have been an accident after all.

So glad your bunny has arrived back safely – it’s very generous of you to give it away.

The primroses are lovely! It’s so nice to know spring is coming although I still find myself under feet of snow!
Looking forward to the April issue!

Oh no! Hope it warms up for you soon. We even have a few leaves beginning to show in the hedgerows here, though the weather is forecast to turn cold again (for us at least) later this week 🙁

Hello Helen,

I’m sorry but I can’t stop laughing at Ben and Daisy’s antics with Rudolph!
By the way, I can’t wait for your next stitching tutorial from your “film studio” – the first one was brilliant.

Love,
Diana.

Loved the little bunny looking for anew home.
I always like to read about your life with the naughty newfies. They are adorable as Daisy is. I have several kitties that includes a naughty Ragdoll. He is a rescue with a lot of street smarts.
Spring in GB looks devine among the cottage homes. Keep up the excellent work. Have fun too.
