And here we are, at the end of another month, and what a month it’s been here at Bustle & Sew HQ. That is to say, the new temporary Bustle & Sew HQ as I’ve now left my little stone cottage on the edge of the village and am sitting typing this post in my temporary office located south of Bristol. I won’t be here for long though, as we have yet another two moves to come – firstly to temporary accommodation deep in the Somerset countryside, and then finally in the autumn to our new home alongside the railway line. But more of that to come, for now I’m here with details of the August Magazine that’s published tomorrow….
There’s lots inside to enjoy as we celebrate late summer here in England and the start of our holiday season – goodness knows it’s hot enough here at the moment – the thermometer peaked at 31C (that’s 87F) yesterday, which is lovely when you’re on holiday, but a little on the warm side for normal day to day activities. Still, I expect it will be raining again before long, so better enjoy the sunshine while we can! I love to sit in the garden and stitch on these warm sunny days with Daisy snoring gently at my feet – and before long there will be a new puppy joining her – not a Newfie quite just yet, but a baby Labrador – sure to be full of mischief and fun.
