A Quiet Week

We have been very quiet here this week and so the transfer above seemed appropriate.  It’s a beautiful image taken from a very old issue of “The Needlewoman” dated 1933 – must have belonged to my grandma I think.  If you ‘d like it, then please click here for the free pdf file – which includes the original stitch guide and working instructions from the magazine.

I’d like to say a very big “thank you” for the kind thoughts and sympathy sent by so many people, both through comments and emails – I was so touched by them all.  And just to let you know that our giveaway judge slipped away very peacefully … her great old heart was simply worn out.  But she left the junior judge behind – I’ll have to start teaching him to operate his paw and select a winner before the next giveaway.  Better buy a very large bag of biscuits – I feel multiple training sessions will be needed!

This pattern is perfect for my 3 year old daughter. She loves to look at the stars with her daddy. Thanks so much for sharing.

So sorry to read about your loss. My heart goes out to you.

Sincerely,
Nancy
