And finally …. Ben was desperate to follow and help me take these photos. Sadly I felt his contribution would not be helpful since it would most likely involve grabbing and repositioning each fish (in one of his very special hiding places that he thinks I will be unable to find). The fish would then be very soggy, slightly chewed and totally unphotogenic! So I’ll leave with you a photo of the poor abandoned dog instead (and yes, that is a full-size five bar gate!)
Yes, I’ve finally finished my “Little Fishies” pattern. I’m very pleased with them – they were great fun to make and look really effective hanging in a bunch – rather like those bunches of wooden fish you can buy from many gift shops. I also think that a fish embroidered flat would look great framed as a present for a keen fisherman so think I’ll work one like that later. Anyway, the pattern will be going in my Etsy Shop, but I thought I’d offer it to blog readers at a special price of $2 rather than $3.50 on Etsy.
If you’d like to purchase at this special price, then please click here to be taken to my Bustle and Sew siteto purchase through Paypal. I’ll send your pdf download to you within 24 hours (and often sooner if we’re in the same time zone!). The pattern includes transfers, templates and full instructions for making up the fish.
