I love September – I think that it’s probably my second-most favourite month of the year – May being my most favourite of all. It’s a month filled with nostalgia for the golden days of summer past, but exciting too as it’s also a month of new beginnings – a new season – and the beginning of the countdown towards Christmas. We’re going to be super-busy here at Bustle & Sew HQ before then as we’re very excited to be attending the Etsy Made Local Fair in Bristol in December – but more about that another time.
Around our village the hedgerows are full of colour – although very few flowers are in bloom now, there are hips, haws and berries of all kinds to admire, whilst the leaves are beginning to change colour and the harvest has been gathered in, so it’s fine for my two furry friends – who definitely prefer these cooler days – to wander away from the hedgerows in pursuit of the scent of rabbit, deer and fox.
September is also the time that I begin to look forward to long cosy evenings spent in front of the log burner with my stitching – and if you’re like me in this respect then you’re sure to be pleased with our latest kits. We’re delighted to have teamed up with Floresita over on the Feeling Stitchy blog this month to offer readers a chance to win one of our new Rosie’s Houseplants Hand Embroidery Kits (as pictured below).
If you’d like the chance to win then please just CLICK HERE to visit the Feeling Stitchy blog to enter. The competition is free, just leave a comment to enter and we’re happy to post worldwide.
Love love love this! I featured it on my blog as inspiration – I hope that’s okay. I linked back to the Feeling Stitchy blog post and captioned the photo with your Bustle and Sew link. Thank you for this great pattern and great giveaway.
Thanks JoElle, that’s really kind. Good luck in the giveaway! xx
