We have a winner!

I am so, so sorry not to have come back to you sooner with a winner for last week’s giveaway.  My excuse, however, is a very good one …. next week I am publishing my first-ever Christmas Issue of the Bustle & Sew magazine – and I want it to be the best issue ever!!  I am including not the usual 3, but FIVE, yes FIVE original Bustle & Sew patterns, as well as some vintage designs, an article on the best-duvet ever to wake up under on Christmas morning, a short story and more too.

I can’t show you any photos of my designs today as I’m working right up to the wire on this issue, and although they’re made, they’re not photographed yet.  But you’ve seen the Candy Cone Mouse, and the Advent Calendar nearly completed and I’ll post some more photos when they’re ready … watch this space!!  I’m also giving away the pdf file for my print-your-own vintage style Christmas Bunting as the first of my free Christmas gifts for subscribers ….

And with all this hyper-activity on the magazine, I am sorry to say that I have been neglecting my blog.  Apologies once more.  So on with the giveaway results.  I was blown away by the number of comments I received – thank you so much to all of you for entering.  I think it’s probably just as well that I’m no longer employing a canine random number generator – 150 dog biscuits would have been far too many to number individually!!

Anyway, I fed the numbers into the generator and as you can see from the image at the top of this post, the winner of the “Simply Aprons” book is number 8 – that’s Lesley (I counted Joy’s two comments as one entry).  Well done Lesley!! Please get in touch and let me know where you’d like me to send your book.  Thank you everyone for leaving comments about your favourite fruit too – it was great reading them, though I do not agree with “apples”!  I think my favourite is strawberries – yum!

Returning soon with images from the Christmas special edition of the Bustle & Sew Magazine – if you’d like to receive all these goodies at the subscriber’s price of only $4.50 per month, then you can sign up using the form at the top of the right hand sidebar.    Back to my sewing machine now …. xx

I'm so thrilled to have won. Guess what? I've never made an apron before. Another new project. Whoopee. Thank you so much. Blessings
