A very sad day

Daisy

12 November 2012 – 13 July 2022.

She was so very loved, and as all her family and friends will know… “there’s always one, and it’s always Daisy,”

Very many happy memories. We will miss her so much, but her body had given up and we had to make the horrible decision to say goodbye. Farewell little girl xx

Thank you, she was the only dog I’ve known that managed to get herself stuck in a tree! She had a lovely life.xx

I’m so sorry ! The only problem with dogs is they just don’t live long enough! ❤️

I totally agree. And then they leave us and we say “never again” but we do because of all the joy they bring. Thanks for thinking of us x

Thank you Linda. It was a hard decision, but the right one. I like to imagine she’s reunited with her big brother Ben and they’re running free along the beach together again xx

So very saddened to learn this. Enjoyed seeing Daisy in your postings. How well I feel your pain.
I have a plaque in my sunroom that reminds us “Dogs come into our lives, leave paw prints on our hearts and we are forever changed.”
Be strong and cherish memories.

So sorry for your loss. I surely know how your feel. We loss 3 cats since 1975, so we understand how you are feeling. My prayers are with you!

Helen I’m so sorry to hear about Daisy. I think it’s hardest decision we must make as a pet owner, but a decision based on love. Daisy is out of pain and running through meadows filled with lavender. You’ll see her again 🕊

Thank you for your kind thoughts Lynn, though I think Daisy is more likely to be wallowing in a muddy hollow – she was that sort of dog!! xx

So sorry to hear about Daisy. Our pets are like family and like family it is hard to say goodbye when we know their life is at a close. She is in a much better place and not in pain. She will watch over you forever.

Oh my gosh – sooo very sad and she looked like she was in great health! I lost my dear Great Pyraness a few years ago and just can’t get another dog. I wish they could live longer – i know how heart breaking it is and just know many of us are thinking of you.

Thank you Susan, yes she was good right up until the last month when she went downhill very quickly. xx
