I love this time of year – spring is definitely “out of the bag” now and there can be no going back to dark grey leafless winter days. It seems only a few weeks ago that the only leaves to be seen were those of houseplants and in florists….
Like these beautiful succulents I photographed at a florist in Bath a few weeks ago. But now there are blossoms and blooms everywhere and I was delighted to spot this beauty whilst out walking with Daisy earlier this week ….
And there are beautiful blooms galore here at Bustle & Sew too! A few weeks ago I offered a VERY limited edition kit to make my Embroidered Scissors Case from the April Magazine.
At that time I had absolutely no intention of restocking these kits as I was using up my supply of Tilda self adhesive fabric (the pretty floral print you can see above). But …. I had so many disappointed emails from readers who were unable to purchase that I have searched the internet and found more Tilda fabric to use. It’s not exactly the same as the print above – but still very pretty – and still genuine Tilda of course. Again I have ordered only enough for a limited supply, though if they prove to be jsut as popular as the originals I will try to source more.
If you’d like to learn more about these kits (and possibly purchase) then please just CLICK HERE to visit the Bustle & Sew store. And finally ….
Last month Rosie and I commissioned some new images for our kit packaging and the photographer has just returned our samples. These include the little Wilderness Bear above. I’ve just listed him in our store – there is only one of course, jointly stitched by Rosie (his tummy panel) and me! You can find him here.
