Half Price Etsy Sale

It’s been a busy week or two here as the leaves begin to fall from the horse chestnut trees while the chickens are moulting madly – the inside of their coop is carpeted in feathers and they all look rather tatty and completely fed up!  But, putting these domestic concerns behind us, we headed up to London last week for a matinee performance of Million Dollar Quartet.  We caught the train at Castle Cary, which I think must be one of the most attractive mainline stations in the country.  It was renovated last year..

Above you can see the platform, creamery/farm shop and station cafe.  I’m almost certain this must be the only station in England with a cream – and this is because the luxury hotel and estate “The Newt” was part of the renovations and in fact runs both the creamery and cafe.  Cream teas and other such delights are served in the restored vintage carriage you can see in the third picture, and I’m very much hoping we may get to sample some of their offerings at a future date.

The venue for the show was the “Arts at Marble Arch” (that’s Marble Arch centre bottom), a pop-up venue which boasted some of the most comfortable seats I’ve ever experienced in a theatre!  All in all it was a great day out.

I’ve also been busy finishing off my little granddaughter Florence’s Bunny Blanket which I’m planning to give to her at Christmas…

It’s a combination of bunny squares from the patterns of Saskie Knits, and geometric squares from Needle and Feather and was a great way to use up some of the leftover yarn from my own blanket (as well as the joy of purchasing more of course!).  It’s all finished now, and I do hope she likes it!  Finishing Florence’s blanket seemed to bring Christmas closer and so I thought it would be nice to hold a short sale in my Etsy shop for all my patterns in case people are still looking for some Christmas makes…

You don’t need any codes, and the sale will run for one week only. Just CLICK HERE to visit Bustle & Sew on Etsy and pick up a bargain!
